We attended the Second Place property exhibition in the beautiful town of Gent in Belgium.

5,000 visitors attended and our stand was busy from the moment the exhibition opened on the Friday afternoon through to Sunday evening! Bookings are now flooding in for clients requesting property inspection visits and viewings! Totally exhausting but thoroughly worth it!!!

4 am start, 6 am flight to Paris…and then we missed our connecting flight!!!! 6 hours waiting in the airport for the next flight…

…then when we finally arrived..the baggage was still in Paris!!!!

What else could go wrong!!??? Thankfully nothing. After a good night´s sleep, the display material arrived and we had a fantastic show! We are expecting many property inspection visits throughout May, June and July. So was it worth it?…..YES, but don´t make us do the trip again without sleep!

but there was no need to worry! With far fewer companies and exhibitors, our stand was continually busy throughout both days. Our prices, properties and photographs attracted genuine interest and many booked immediately on a property inspection trip! Despite sore throats and aching feet!! we crossed the bridge from Malmo into Denmark and enjoyed a sunny morning as tourists in Copenhagen! A beautiful and enchanting city…but poor Carol lost her purse… And…..those lovely Scandinavians handed it in..!

No snow!! Hooray!

But it was cold, rainy and extremely windy!..but good news for selling property in sunny Spain!

Sweden were playing for a gold medal in the Winter Olympics on the Sunday ..so we were all worried Sunday would be quiet BUT the organisers had advertised a huge screen showing the Olympics at the property show… and Sunday was a great success!

Both days were very busy with clients booking inspection trips and wanting information on our areas and properties.

Clients seemed equally interested in both coastal and inland properties and very keen to visit in the near future.

Gothenburg is a beautiful city but we´re glad to be back to sunshine, euros and our “menu of the day” meals!!

We would’ve loved to have stayed longer.. BUT COULDN’T AFFORD IT!

Our stand was one of the busiest of the show and we met many serious buyers with an appetite for buying an overseas property undaunted by the current political climate.

 

 

We are currenly in touch with all the clients met at the show and many have already booked inspection trips.

We hope to generate many sales from our latest show and are already preparing for the next show at Olympia, London in May.
